Terms and Conditions

General Terms

1.1. These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the rental of motorcycles and scooters from Bike Rental Club ("Company"). 1.2. By renting a vehicle from Bike Rental Club, the customer ("Renter") agrees to comply with all terms outlined herein. 1.3. The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. 1.4. The Company reserves the right to refuse service to any customer without explanation. 1.5. The Renter is responsible for ensuring that they have read and understood these terms before renting a vehicle.

Eligibility & Documentation

2.1. The Renter must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid two-wheeler driving license recognized by Indian authorities. 2.2. A valid government-issued identification proof (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, etc.) must be provided at the time of booking. 2.3. Foreign nationals must provide a valid passport, visa, and international driving permit. 2.4. The Company reserves the right to verify the authenticity of documents before approving the rental. 2.5. The Renter must provide accurate personal details, and any discrepancy found may result in cancellation of the booking. 2.6. The Company may request additional verification if deemed necessary.

Rental Booking & Payment

3.1. All bookings must be made through the Company’s website, mobile app, or authorized rental points. 3.2. Full payment must be made before the vehicle is handed over to the Renter. 3.3. The Company accepts only online payments. Cash payments are not allowed except for specific cases approved by the admin. 3.4. Booking extensions must be requested and paid for before the end of the rental period. 3.5. Failure to return the vehicle on time without an extension approval will result in penalties and additional charges. 3.6. Discounts, offers, or promotional coupons can only be applied at the time of booking and cannot be retroactively applied. 3.7. Rental charges are non-negotiable.

Late Return Policy

4.1. The rental period is calculated on a 24-hour basis unless otherwise specified. 4.2. Late return beyond the agreed time will incur an additional charge per hour, which will be deducted from the security deposit or billed separately. 4.3. Rentals exceeding the return time by more than 6 hours without prior notice may be considered vehicle theft and reported to authorities. 4.4. The Company reserves the right to recall a vehicle before the end of the rental period in case of emergencies or violations.

Security Deposit

5.1. A refundable security deposit is required at the time of booking. The deposit amount varies based on the vehicle type. 5.2. The deposit will be refunded within 5-7 business days after the vehicle is returned in good condition. 5.3. Any damage, missing parts, or violations will be deducted from the security deposit. 5.4. The Renter must ensure that the deposit refund request is made at the time of return. 5.5. Security deposits may be held for a longer duration if there are any pending fines or damages.

Vehicle Condition & Usage

6.1. The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as received. 6.2. Renters must inspect the vehicle and report any pre-existing damages before taking possession. 6.3. Any damage during the rental period must be reported immediately. 6.4. Off-roading, racing, or any unlawful activity is strictly prohibited. 6.5. The vehicle must not be used by anyone other than the Renter, unless explicitly approved by the Company. 6.6. Any modifications or tampering with the vehicle are strictly prohibited. 6.7. The Company is not responsible for any loss of personal belongings left inside the vehicle. 6.8. Unlimited kilometers are available only for select rental plans.

Fuel Policy

7.1. The vehicle is provided with a minimum level of fuel. The Renter must return the vehicle with the same level of fuel. 7.2. No refund will be provided for excess fuel left in the vehicle at the time of return. 7.3. Renters must use only the recommended fuel type to avoid mechanical issues. 7.4. Any fuel-related damage caused by using incorrect fuel type will be charged to the Renter.

Helmet Policy

8.1. Helmets are mandatory while riding as per government regulations. 8.2. The Company provides a complimentary helmet with each rental. Additional helmets can be rented for an extra charge. 8.3. Renters are responsible for the proper use and care of the helmet. 8.4. Any loss or damage to the helmet will result in a replacement charge. 8.5. The Company is not responsible for any injury resulting from improper helmet usage or failure to wear a helmet.

Insurance & Liability

9.1. All vehicles come with basic third-party insurance coverage. 9.2. The Renter is responsible for any damages beyond insurance coverage, including personal injury, vehicle damage, and third-party liabilities. 9.3. In case of an accident, the Renter must immediately inform the Company and provide all necessary details. 9.4. Any violation of traffic rules will be the sole responsibility of the Renter. 9.5. The Renter must bear all repair costs if the damage is not covered under insurance.

Traffic Violations

10.1. The Renter is liable for all traffic fines, penalties, and legal issues during the rental period. 10.2. Any challan or legal notice received post-rental due to the Renter’s actions will be forwarded to the Renter for payment. 10.3. Parking fines, towing charges, or any other penalties must be paid by the Renter.

Cancellation & Refund

11.1. Cancellations made 48 hours before the booking time will be eligible for a full refund. 11.2. Cancellations made within 24 hours of booking will incur a 50% cancellation charge. 11.3. No refund will be provided for cancellations made within 12 hours of booking. 11.4. Refund processing time may take up to 7 business days. 11.5. Refunds will not be provided for early returns. 11.6. The Company reserves the right to cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.

Breakdown Assistance

12.1. In case of a breakdown, the Renter must inform the Company immediately. 12.2. The Company will provide assistance based on availability and location. 12.3. The Renter must not attempt unauthorized repairs on the vehicle.

Termination of Agreement

13.1. The Company reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement if the Renter is found violating any terms. 13.2. In case of misconduct, the Company may refuse future rentals.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

14.1. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of India. 14.2. Any disputes arising out of this Agreement shall be settled in the courts of Dehradun.
